Application of Zinc Fertilizer and Mycorrhizal Inoculation on Physio-Biochemical Parameters of Wheat Grown under Water-Stressed Environment

چکیده
Drought stress and poor zinc (Zn) are major constraints for commercial agriculture. Their detrimental effects significantly decrease crop’s growth yield. Less water uptake disturbs the metabolic processes in plants. However, deficiency of Zn leads to inactivation many enzymes. It is well documented that cereal crops, especially wheat, susceptible drought deficiency. Scientists suggest supplementation along bio-fertilizers sustainable management these issues. That why current experiment was conducted explore best combination bio-fertilizer wheat. There were two different recommended concentrations sulfate (Zinc level 1 (Zn1) = 20 Zinc 2 (Zn2) 40 kg ha−1) applied under normal irrigation (75% field capacity FC) severe (40% FC). Sole combined inoculation arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AM) with Zn1 Zn2 also performed. Osmotic decreased examined parameters. enhanced antioxidant oxidative indicators A significant increase root fresh weight, dry shoot length while a EL, SOD, POD over control validated efficacious role + AM. concluded AM can improve wheat weight 40% FC. Under climatic zones, varieties, soil types, more investigations declare as amendment improving attributes osmotic stress.

Wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) is widely cultivated in the Mediterranean zone where plantsgenerally suffer from water stress during heading and reproductive stages. This research wascarried out at the experimental farm of the faculty of agriculture, Kafrelsheikh University usingtwo water treatments (water stress and well-watered), four N levels (0, 80, 160 and 240 kg ha-1)and two ascorbic acid le...

In order to evaluate the effects of inoculants and chemical fertilizer on quantitative and qualitative yield, a bread wheat cultivar treated with Azotobacter, arbuscular mycorrhiza fungi (AMF) and nitrogen sources by using split plot on the basis of randomized complete block design with three replications in Fars Agricultural Research Station during 2007-2008. Main plots consisted of nitrogen f...
متن کاملEffects of Inoculation with Mycorrhizal Fungi on Growth and Heavy Metals Concentrations in Two Wheat Cultivars under Salt Stress Condition
The soil salinity and the diffusion of potentially toxic chemicals to the soil environment through industrial and agricultural activities are known as important factors affecting the productivity of crop plants. Thus, an efficient strategy to increase crop yield, and to improve human and environmental health, is necessary to mitigate the impacts of these detrimental factors. Accordingly, a fact...
